The Wright City Fire Protection District was founded in the 1800’s with the community-spirited concept of neighbors helping neighbors. Over the years, that spirit has become woven into the fabric of the community and remains the very backbone of our organization.
Our mission is to serve, educate, and protect our community. We work to achieve this mission everyday through our career firefighters, professionals, and volunteers who are committed to excellence and dedicated to emergency response.
We operate as a combination agency, which means we have both volunteer and career personnel. These dedicated professionals work side by side providing essential services to the community.
On behalf of the professional men and women who serve here at Wright City Fire Protection District, let me assure you, our community spirit is alive and well in our service to you. With the support of our Board of Directors and community, we strive every day to serve you in the best ways possible. We have improved our ISO rating, we continue to improve our training and education, and we offer state of the art equipment to ensure our members can continue to deliver high quality services to our citizens in a fiscally responsible manner.
